The Microtekna S.r.l. born as an innovative start-up, with the aim of carrying out research and development of products and solutions in the field of IoT and innovative technologies to serve industry and home automation.
The company is an expression of the will of the founding members of Microdesign S.r.l. and Tekna Automazioni S.r.l. to develop research in high-tech sectors and represents the merger of the know-how of the two companies. Microdesign S.r.l. was founded in 1996 as a software house for the development of "taylor-made". In 2008 Microdesign signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Wolters Kluwer for the supply of services and software solutions to be incorporated into its products and conveyed throughout the country. To date, Microdesign is the only Italian company, outside the multinational, certified and authorized to write "core" code and implement vertical modules within Wolters Kluwer products.
Tekna Automazioni S.r.l. was founded in 1998 as an industrial automation company and specializes in the design and construction of entire custom production plants, testing, robotic islands, automatic machines and special equipment. The company is equipped with machining departments capable of producing all the necessary components internally, guaranteeing certified quality standards.
